OINPE NRNU MEPhI invites you to take part in the III International (XVI Regional) Scientific Conference «Technogenic Systems and Environmental Risk» (TSER 2020), which will be held on May 21-22, 2020.

The Conference will be held in on-line format via Google Meet.

III INTERNATIONAL (XVI REGIONAL) SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE        «TECHNOGENIC SYSTEMS AND ENVIRONMENTAL RISK»

DEAR COLLEAGUES!

Obninsk Institute for Nuclear Power Engineering, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (IATE NRNU MEPhI) invite students, postgraduates, young scientists and specialists to participate in the III International (XVI Regional) Scientific Conference «Technogenic Systems and Environmental Risk» (TSER 2020), which will be held at the Obninsk Institute of Nuclear Power Engineering on April 16-17, 2020.

The conference aims to discuss current scientific problems related to the study of technogenic factors in the human environment, the assessment of the impact of these factors on humans and natural systems, the environmental safety of the biosphere in the face of intensive technological progress, the development of high-tech applications in industry, pharmaceutics, agriculture, nuclear engineering, and the widespread introduction of nuclear technologies.

Participation in the conference can be:

  • Full-time, with an oral report
  • Full-time, as a listener
  • In form of orrespondence

Registration fee: not required

Conference Languages: Russian and English

Accommodation: accommodation of nonresident participants in a student dormitory is possible for a small fee

The Competition of Students Reports is held in each of the thematic sections during the conference.

The certificate of participation is presented to full-time participants with an oral report, at the author request.

Technical tour to the Industry memorial complex «The First in the World Nuclear Power Plant» is planned for the conference participants. Interested participant must register in advance and provide a copy of his/her passport.

To participate in the conference, submit the following materials in the electronic form to the Secretary of the Organizing Committee (tser.conference.iate@gmail.com) by March 15, 2020 (in Russian or English)

  • Registration Form (file named “RegistrationForm_Last name.doc”)
  • Abstract (file named “Abstract_Last name.doc”)
  • Permission document for open publication (expert opinion) can be submitted later
  • Copy of passport for:
    • those wishing to visit the Industry memorial complex the world’s first nuclear power plant
    • foreign citizens: full-time participants in the conference

Registration Form Template and Requirements for abstracts are attached  (Annex I and Annex II).

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject materials not following the topic of the conference, not containing scientific novelty, or sent after the deadline.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

The Conference Proceedings will be published by the beginning of the conference in electronic form (Sections 1-6) and supplemented after the conference (Section 7). A hard copy will be provided to the main author of an oral report (Sections 1-6), subject to full-time participation. The Conference Proceedings will be indexed in the Russian Index of Scientific Citations (e-library.ru).

Selected authors (full-time participants with oral reports) are planned to be invited to present full papers to be published in Journal of Physics: Conference Series (indexed in Scopus) in English.
